Deeper Still is dedicated to supporting women and men affected by the emotional pain of abortion, offering free, confidential weekend retreats that guide participants toward profound healing and renewed hope.

Our Retreats

Deeper Still weekend retreats offer a safe and confidential environment for women and men to begin or continue their journey toward emotional restoration after abortion. Led by people who have walked their own healing journey, these retreats provide a focused, confidential space for restoration, reconciliation and freedom, running from Friday evening to Sunday at noon.  All retreats are free through generosity of donors.
The Experience

How We Started

Deeper Still was founded in 2008 by Karen Ellison, who had previously dedicated seven years to supporting emotional and spiritual healing from abortion at a local pregnancy center. Recognizing the need for a safe, focused environment for this healing, Karen established Deeper Still to offer free weekend retreats for individuals seeking respite. Now a national organization with local chapters across the country, Deeper Still is driven by a divine mission to expand its ministry teams and provide enduring healing and freedom to women and men affected by abortion.
